4-3 victory against the Highlanders

After a comfortable 4-0 lead after two periods, things got tense in the final period. The Highlanders were able to reduce the deficit to 4-2 with two power-play goals. A shorthanded goal by the Sabres to make it 5-2, scored by Anna Billa, was disallowed by the referee due to a foul by a teammate. Shortly afterward, another 2-minute penalty for delay of game, and in the 6-on-3 power play, the Highlanders scored their third goal. That was the final score.

With the 4-3 victory against the Highlanders, we advance as the winners of the intermediate round to the AWHL Final Four in Linz. There, we will face Graz in the semifinals.
