EWHL next season with 12 teams

At yesterday's league meeting, the Lady Hawks were accepted into the EWHL by a narrow vote. This means that Austria now has 6 teams in the EWHL, which accounts for 50% of the participants. It is also interesting that with the Lady Hawks and the Lakers, two teams now come from the same city, Villach, and there are even 5 EWHL teams within a 2-hour drive.

It remains to be seen how this constellation will develop.

It will be played in a simple first and second round, followed by a playoff.
