We start the new season with a win

Even before the first team training session took place, the first ehibition game was on the agenda. The opponent was North Star Hockey from Canada. From the start, it was an evenly matched game with a surprisingly high tempo, and we soon took a 1-0 lead thanks to young player Anja Seper. After that, we failed to capitalize on a number of good scoring opportunities, and North Star equalized. The Sabres then regained control and increased the score to 3-1 with goals from Alex Gowie and Hanna Obermayr. North Star scored another goal, but the 3-2 victory was never in danger.
